Farid Kahn
Farid was named head squash pro at the Capital Club in March of 2000. Since coming to the Club, he has focused his attention on bringing new players into the game of squash, including women and children.
Farid is a native of Pakistan where he was taught the game by the Khan family, which has a long and impressive history in the sport of squash. His career began with the Pakistan Customs Team. He has also coached in Pakistan, Suadi Arabia, England, the Netherlands, and Switzlerland. Farid was the squash pro at the prestigious squash club in New York and The Ricohet Club in New Jersey and at the Milwaukee Athletic Club
Farid's goal is for the Capital Club to become known as the squash center of Ohio by organizing competitive tournaments and providing quality instruction to players of all ages and abilities.
Certification:
Certified Level 1 & II coach by USSRA.
Certified Club Level refereeing by USSRA.
Awicsh Jayaswal
We welcome our squash Pro extraordinaire Awicsh Jayaswal to
our Athletic team. His background includes winning a Bronze medal
at
the Asian Jr. Nationals, coached 1999 Junior Indian National Team,
organized the World Squash Open in '96 & '97, was ranked 7th at the
intercollegiate level.
