Your email address will be kept in protected directories on this server that spammers can not get to.

We will not sell or give our mailing lists to anyone.

Your email address will also be added to a Yahoo! Groups email newletter list. I will use this to send out one email every six months. To my knowledge the emails in yahoo groups are safe from spammers. I need to add your email to the list so I can check for bouncing emails. That way I can remove people whose emails are no longer valid and keep the site up-to-date.

The Yahoo! Grouops are widely used by hundreds of thousands of people so I doubt there is an easy way for a spammer to exploit them. I have not had a problem with them despite having my email on a half-dozen yahoo group lists.
